Pakistan Steel Mills is a public sector company seeking to appoint an efficient and result-oriented leader with clean credentials for the post of Chief Executive Officer. The company needs a leader who can protect and manage the company's assets. To achieve financial self-sufficiency of the company, the mills can be operated and also facilitate the process of incorporation of the department for investment in the mills and management of its operations. The ideal candidate will have an excellent management and business development background with strong leadership skills capable of developing assets on a commercial basis and the ability to build excellent working relationships with key stakeholders.

Master's Degree in Competence and Experience Management Sciences

At least 25 years of experience, of which at least 107 years have been in a senior management position in a large-scale public organization responding to war and peace. Possessing a proven track record and business management experience in running the affairs of a large industrial and commercial enterprise

Age not more than 62 years at the time of application.

Job profile

The Chief Executive Officer will report to the Board of Directors and will be responsible for all operations ie management operational / financial / policy matters, goals and objectives. Management of affairs during the business phase of mill renovation

Responsible for HR management, interacting with local administrations to resolve organizational issues and working with federal government departments to support the re-privatization process. .

Terms and Conditions of Appointment: The Chief Executive Officer is appointed on contract basis for a      period of one (01) year by mutual consent.

Will be expandable.

Service is terminable upon 30 years' notice.

Confirmation will be granted by the Board after satisfactory completion of the probationary period of three months.

The appointment will be made in accordance with the provisions of the SOE (Governance and Oversight) Act 2023 and the Public Sector Companies Appointment of Chief Executive (Chief Executive) Guidelines 2015. Applicants will be required to complete and sign the Application Form 8, (Graph 8) submitted in the Public Sector Companies Appointment of Chief Executives Guidelines 2015. Promotion and incentives


Pay and allowances equivalent to 1-MP scale or as decided by the Board of Directors. The post will have no superannuation benefits but accommodation and other standard benefits as per Pakistan Steel Service Rules.
